Join Us For A Weekend Of Workshops At Karma Yoga
With Budokon UK Academy Director
Sensei Ryan Carldon-Miah
Budokon is a mind and body art form inspired by the ancient traditions of Yoga, Martial Arts, Zen Meditation and the study of animal movement.
The yogic practice is focused on control, calm, strength and precision, working to improve range of motion and strength. The martial arts practice teaches agility, power, focus and flow in the body and mind. The animal movements reconnect us with our true nature, restoring kinetic skills lost in evolution.

The Art of Transition
In this workshop we will explore Budokon, yoga asana and mixed martial arts techniques, focusing on cultivating body awareness and transitions between postures. As much of a yoga practice is spent moving from one asana to another, our focus will instead be on the in-between stages: entering and existing a posture with so much mindfulness and precision that the technique becomes the transition itself.
SUNDAY MARCH 4TH, 10.00-12.00
Flow and Flexibility
If you love power or Vinyasa flow yoga and want to see their evolutionary potential, this is the workshop for you. Budokon’s dynamic blend of traditional and contemporary yoga asana and martial arts builds upon the yoga practitioner’s base knowledge of traditional Hatha yoga while challenging the practitioner to push past conventional yogic practices.
SUNDAY MARCH 4TH, 13.00-15.00
